ABOUT THE GRAIN

The Grain debuts as Hendricks Commercial Properties first mass timber project, located in the heart of Delafield, Wisconsin. The Grain features two buildings with 60,000 square feet of office space, 18,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space and 125 parking spots including underground parking options, completely transforming the one-acre vacant lot.

The Grain is Delafield’s first mass timber construction project filling a void within the city and making it a prime destination to work and play.

The Grain’s exterior brick façade differentiates itself from other mass timber projects in the US, giving it a timeless design that represents how buildings used to be made while the interior finishes represents the future of modern-day construction. Exposed columns and ceilings create an open, refined space for tenants, providing a more desirable and appealing office or retail space.

Bryan Ronning is eager to bring Voodoo Brewing to downtown Delafield, but residents will have to wait a few more months before they can drink a cold glass of Good Vibes (a West Coast sweet IPA) or Thunder Lizard (an Imperial IPA).

Current tenants opening at The Grain include: Brunch It up, LiveFree Health, Midwest Insurance Group, NONA Nutrition, RAIC Labs, RBC Wealth Management, Velvet & Tulle Boutique and Voodoo Brewing Co.

The Grain, downtown Delafield’s soon-to-be finished retail and office space, has been under construction since early 2022, but Hendricks Commercial Properties’ first mass timber development is expected to open this spring and summer.

The Grain, a $25 million development featuring two, four-story buildings under construction at 705 Genesee St., is Delafield’s first mass timber development. The timbers are on site and ready to be installed.
